Getting Started
Learn how to prepare your PORTALO in less than a minute.
Step 1 : Fill the Reservoir
Unscrew the upper module and fill the tank with up to 410 mL of clean water.
You can use:
Step 2 : Deploy the Hose
Pull out the extractable hose.
The hose locks naturally during use and retracts easily once you're finished.
Step 3 : Pressurize
Close the reservoir securely.
Pump the handle several times until you begin to feel resistance.
The manual pump generates up to 3 bars of pressure, providing a powerful continuous stream without electricity or batteries.
Step 4 : Start Cleaning
Press the trigger to release the water.
The pressure remains constant throughout the cleaning session for a comfortable and efficient experience.
How is PORTALO different from electric travel showers?
PORTALO uses manual air pressure instead of batteries. This ensures a more powerful and reliable water flow, with no risk of electronic failure.
Is PORTALO suitable for intimate hygiene?
Absolutely. PORTALO was specifically designed to provide precise and controlled intimate cleaning, all while using minimal water.
How much water does PORTALO use?
PORTALO is ultra-efficient. It provides up to 2 minutes of continuous spray with only 350 mL of water, much less than a traditional faucet.
Does it require batteries or charging?
No. PORTALO is 100% mechanical and manual. It requires no electricity or charging cables.
Is PORTALO only for intimate hygiene?
No. PORTALO was designed for water hygiene, but it can also be used to rinse sand, mud, shoes, outdoor gear, bikes, boats, or sports equipment with very little water.
Can I use seawater or dirty water?
No. PORTALO is designed to be used with clear water. Saltwater, sand, mud, or corrosive liquids can damage the internal pressurized circuit and are not covered by warranty.
